- Cylinder block : the cylinder block houses cylinders and their components like gaskets, valves, and seals inside a cooled and lubricated crankcase. Though strong and sturdy, the block may face problems such as cracked blocks, porous blocks, core plug, or freeze plug failures
- Cylinder head : a closed end of a cylinder is called the cylinder head. It is located right above the cylinder block, closing the top of the cylinder and forming the combustion chamber. Airflow is coordinated in and out of the engine by the cylinder head. Any cylinder head problem will result in insufficient compression making the car difficult to drive
- Diesel : diesel engines do need regular maintenance to keep them going. Different types of diesel engine maintenance are done here:
- Oil and filter change
- Air filter change
- Fuel filter change
- Fuel system bleeding
- Water separator draining
- Urea injection system refilling
- Engine maintenance, repair, and rebuild : regular preventative maintenance of your engine is important to keep it performing well. We also undertake engine repair, if there is something wrong with your car's engine. We also provide engine rebuild options if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a new car. Every car engine is susceptible to damage and breakdown. We replace such damaged engines with new ones.
- Timing belt : this is a component in the car's internal combustion engine. This synchronizes the crankshaft and camshaft rotation to keep the opening and closing of the engine valves timed accurately. The belt prevents the piston from striking the valves in an interference engine. Most cars now have the rubber timing belt instead of the chain and gear system. A regular check of your car's timing belt is needed
- Transmission flush : though your car's manufacturer may recommend a transmission flush 30,000 miles or every two years, some signs may indicate that your car may need a transmission flush sooner : strange noises, problems shifting gears, slipping gears, surging of the car, and delay in vehicle movement are all classic signs of this problem. The used fluid from the transmission must be flushed out washing away with it dirt, clutch material, and metal shavings
- Check engine light : a check engine "on" signal means that there is something wrong with the car like a bad catalytic converter, or it could be something minor, like a loose gas cap
- Fuel injection : the fuel injector atomizes fuel and forcibly pumps it into a small nozzle. A damaged fuel injection system will slow down the vehicle and hamper engine performance
- Ignition : the ignition system ignites the mixture of fuel and air in the engine. A good ignition system will ensure that there will no trouble starting your car's engine
- Ignition wires and cables : these cables are also called spark plug wires and are an important component in the ignition system. These wires transfer the spark from the coil to the spark plugs. Any damage to these wires will result in the engine misfiring. Signs of this problem would be : poor gas mileage, engine misfires, engine light switching on, and engine vibrations
- Oil, lube, and filter : these three components are important to keep your vehicle running smoothly. Oil, lube, and filter change may be required every three months or 3000, miles. Oil helps in lubricating, cleaning, and cooling the internal engine components
- Spark plugs : electric current is delivered to the combustion chamber with the help of the spark plug. Ignition problems may arise due to a faulty spark plug
